Born in Curaçao, Mitchell Provence has been involved with dancing since he can think. He has become one of the most talented dancers of his generation. Mitchell trained with teachers like Eddie Torres, Franke Martinez, Leo Garcia, Eric Lalta, Nene Vasquez and Walter Rebatta and formed a strong knowledge in music and Salsa dancing, Afro and Contemporary. Taking advantage of this solid dance and music foundation, Mitchell quickly became one of the most respected and popular artists in the Salsa scene.
After dancing with the well-known Salsa Dance Squad in the Netherlands, he decided to go his own way in 2004. He moved to Germany where he met his actual dance partner Monica Melito. In 2004, at the Zurich Salsa Congress, Monica and Mitchell found out that they blended well with each other and that the harmony of their dance style was amazing.
